Symptom: DXF-19, DXH-19, MGC-19 – ERROR CODE P6
Solution: MULTIPLE SOLUTIONS
Cause: LOW PRESSURE PROTECTION
Remarks:
DESCRIPTION:
WHEN THE SYSTEM PRESSURE REACHES A CERTAIN VALUE, THE LOW PRESSURE PROTECTOR WILL SWITCH OFF. AFTER THE PRESSURE RESUMES BACK TO NORMAL, THE PROTECTION CODE WILL DISAPPEAR.
***REPAIR (ONLY FOR 36K MODELS):***
1) CHECK THE WIRING BETWEEN THE LOW PRESSURE PROTECTOR AND MAIN CONTROL BOARD:
IS THE WIRING CONNECTED PROPERLY?
NO = CONNECT IT WELL
YES = CHECK 2)
2) CHECK IF LOW PRESSURE PROTECTOR IS BROKEN (HOW? –> DISCONNECT THE PLUG. MEASURE THE RESISTANCE OF THE LOW PRESSURE PROTECTOR. IF THE PROTECTOR IS NORMAL, THE VALUE SHOULD BE 0:
IS THE VALUE OF THE LOW PRESSURE PROTECTOR 0?
NO = REPLACE THE LOW PRESSURE PROTECTOR
YES = CHECK 3)
3) CHECK THE OUTDOOR AMBIENT TEMPERATURE:
IS THE OUTDOOR AMBIENT TEMPERATURE TOO LOW?
YES = STOP THE UNIT
NO = CHECK 4)
4) CHECK THE VALVE CORE OF HIGH PRESSURE VALVE:
IS THE VALVE CORE OF THE HIGH PRESSURE VALVE OPENED?
NO = OPEN THE VALVE CORE OF HIGH PRESSURE VALVE COMPLETELY
YES = CHECK 5)
5) CHECK THE INDOOR FAN:
IS THE INDOOR FAN RUNNING PROPERLY IN COOLING MODE?
NO = PLEASE CHECK THE SOLUTION FOR THE FAN SPEED MALFUNCTION (ERROR CODE E3)
YES = CHECK 6)
6) REPLACE THE OUTDOOR MAIN BOARD. ALSO CHECK IF THE REFRIGERANT SYSTEM IS OK. IF THE REFRIGERANT IS NOT OK, REPLENISHMENT OF REFRIGERANT MAY BE NECESSARY
